چکیده

Purpose The increasing number of older passengers is resulted in a growing significance international senior tourism industry. In today's competitive airport environments, improving the service performance (ASP) for crucial to take an important place market. ASP design has been focal point many researchers and stakeholders. However, evaluation regarding architectural use have mostly underrated. Design/methodology/approach study focused on building elements. proposed simulation-based walkthrough (SBSW) was applied case Istanbul. Experts performed landside passenger activities evaluate its with given instruction. An empathic tool, GERonTologic age simulation (GERT) suit, used experience physical limitations during experiment. Findings Results showed that SBSW positively influenced experts' ASP, where higher problems were obtained. GERT suit created significant difference, lower scores perceived empathy observed within group suit. concluded criteria could provide useful research framework age-friendly airports. Originality/value addressed novel area enquiry by proposing new set considering evaluating these through approach “SBSW”.

Preventing Key Performance Indicators Violations Based on Proactive Runtime Adaptation in Service Oriented Environment

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a type of performance measurement that evaluates the success of an organization or a partial activity in which it engages. If during the running process instance the monitoring results show that the KPIs do not reach their target values, then the influential factors should be identified, and the appropriate adaptation strategies should be performed to prevent ...

A Study to Assess the Effect of Asphalt Mixture on the Photocatalytic Performance: A Simulation

This study reports the simulation of a photocatalytic system process and the photocatalytic property of self-cleaning asphalt concrete (SCAC) with four typical asphalt mixtures. A photocatalytic system was simulated based on the pollutant concentration data, which were collected on three types of city roads. Two photocatalytic indexes were proposed to evaluate the photocatalytic property of sel...

CyberWalk: a web-based distributed virtual walkthrough environment

A distributed virtual walkthrough environment allows users connected to the geometry server to walk through a specific place of interest, without having to travel physically. This place of interest may be a virtual museum, virtual library or virtual university. There are two basic approaches to distribute the virtual environment from the geometry server to the clients, complete replication and ...

Managing Gigabyte Virtual Environment Walkthrough

In this paper, we study the problem of interactive walkthrough of a large virtual environment (VE) where the data representing 3D virtual objects can not reside completely in the main memory. We tap into the wealth of techniques (indexing, caching, prefetching) that have been widely used by the database community, and investigate how walkthrough semantics can be integrated into these techniques...
